Please find attached Maths homework for Year 1 this week. In class we have been adding and subtracting within 20, using number lines to help us. Please use the number line at the bottom of the sheet to help. Homework Year 1 15.3.24

This week we have being reading the text ‘Zog’ by Julia Donaldson. We would like you to draw Zog and label the parts of his body. Can you then please write a few sentences describing how Zog looks and how he acts. We are looking forward to seeing your pictures and reading your labels and descriptions.

For homework this week we would like the children to spend a bit of time taking part in the RSPB Big Garden Bird Watch. This can be in the garden, looking out of a window, in a local park or green area. We have sent home a sheet to explain and to record on but have also put a link to the RPSB’ s page sharing information about the weekend.
